The 30-year-old defender joins the Turbines after most recently featuring for Kettering Town and also enjoyed successful spells with Bedford Town where he made over 100 appearances.

Although a centre-back, Mensah has had success in both boxes, netting 15 goals for Bedford Town in total, and captained the side frequently including in promotion winning campaigns. 

Mensah has also played for Colney Heath, Welwyn Garden City, Tring Athletic, Harpenden Town, Kempston Rovers and Enfield Town. 

A natural leader on and off the pitch, manager Graham Drury has confirmed that Carl will captain Peterborough Sports for the upcoming campaign.
