The 31 year-old began his youth career at MK Dons and Peterborough United before being released in 2013.
The forward had several spells in non-league, appearing for Langford, Barton Rovers, Arlesey Town, Kettering Town, Stamford and St Neots, before joining League Two side Cambridge United in 2017.
Brown spent eight seasons in the EFL for Cambridge, Colchester United, Forest Green Rovers, Exeter City, Bristol Rovers and Notts County; making over 300 appearances and netting 48 goals.
Last season, he played for National League South side Hemel Hempstead and National League North outlet Bedford Town, making a combined 27 appearances.
The former Jamaican youth international signs for the Turbines, bolstering the attacking options for Graham Drury's side.
