THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE OF PETERBOROUGH SPORTS FC

Date: Tuesday 10th March
Kick-off: 7:45PM
Stadium: Aggborough Stadium, DY10 1NB
Peterborough Sports travel to Kidderminster Harriers on Tuesday evening (7:45pm) at Aggborough Stadium.
Michael Gash’s return to the dugout began last weekend with a 1-0 defeat to Southport at home, leaving the Turbines two points adrift of safety.
Opponents, Kidderminster Harriers, sit fourth in the table and are unbeaten in their last five league games. They beat Buxton 3-1 last weekend.
The two sides met at PIMS Park in the reverse fixture at the beginning of October with the Turbines coming from behind to win 2-1; with Max Booth and Marcel Oakley on the scoresheet.
Team News
Forward Ben Beresford returned to action during Saturday’s defeat to Southport having been sidelined since mid-December with a hip injury. Peter Crook also returned to the starting line-up having been sidelined with a short-term injury. Dan Jarvis missed last weekend’s fixture due to illness but could return to the squad for the trip to Kidderminster.
Former Turbines defender Richard Faakye recently signed for the Harriers’ having left Peterborough Sports earlier this year. He made his debut for the club last Tuesday in a 1-0 win against Alfreton Town and could feature for a third consecutive match against the Turbines on Tuesday night.
Management Quotes
Michael Gash said: “We need to use Saturday’s disappointment as motivation for Tuesday. It’s going to be a tough game but Kidderminster are always a hard place to go to. They’re one of the stronger teams in the league. But I believe in the squad and they need to believe in themselves more. We have good players but it’s not just talent that will get you there. If players keep playing for the badge then I have no doubt the results will come.”
